Green Awards, set up by NEWS.com.au, highlight Australian innovation in the environmental sector. Over 500 entries were submitted and in the Junior Hero category, Planet Patrol, one of ClimateMovement’s own local climate action groups is a finalist!

Planet Patrol is run by the three Wadlow children who have set up a website to inform other kids about environmental issues and rally for environmental protection. They are passionate about issues such as getting local businesses to use 100% recycled Australian paper, and “Save the Trees Day”.

Planet Patrol is one of four finalists in the Junior Hero award category. The winner will be announced next week.
