The Australia’s Climate Action Summit will be the first event of its kind – a national event bringing together members of Climate Action Groups and other community activists on climate change, to plan climate change campaigning in 2009. It will be held at the Australian National University in Canberra, from January 31 to February 2.

On February 3, the first sitting day of Federal Parliament, there will be a historic community demonstration to form a human chain around the Australian Parliament House, to call for urgent action on climate change.
