This year’s Walk Against Warming takes place in the middle of the Copenhagen global climate negotiations as part of a global day of action.

It is important to get as many people there as possible to put pressure on Kevin Rudd and other world leaders to agree to strong action on climate change.

You can help!

We need volunteers to help promote Walk Against Warming.

  • Letterboxing – go for a walk in your neighbourhood and put Walk Against Warming leaflets in letterboxes
  • Postering – put up some posters on poles in your local shopping strip, or ask your local shops to display the poster in their window.
  • Street stalls – run a street stall at your local shopping centre on saturday morning and hand out leaflets
  • Train stations – an effective way to reach people is to hand them a leaflet as they arrive at the train station on their way to work (they have plenty of time to read the leaflet waiting for the train).

We can supply leaflets and posters.  Please email Max - mphillips@nccnsw.org.au or phone: 9279 2466.

You can pick up leaflets and posters at the Nature Conservation Council’s office

Level 2, 301 Kent Street Sydney (9am – 6pm)

We can deliver or post leaflets and posters to you (if you are unable to pick up).WAW08
