What is a Climate Group?

A collection of individuals concerns about climate change who meet in their local area to discuss what they can do to make a difference.

Activties of climate action groups can vary from holding information stalls and public meeting to educate the public about climate change, lobbying politicians and local councils for better policies, organising and attending conferences and rallies like Walk Against Warming, or even just discussing the issues.

The Annual General Meeting of BCCAN will be at the Bathurst RSL on 28 August 2008, and will incorporate a Climate Summit.
