What is a Climate Group?

A collection of individuals concerns about climate change who meet in their local area to discuss what they can do to make a difference.

Activties of climate action groups can vary from holding information stalls and public meeting to educate the public about climate change, lobbying politicians and local councils for better policies, organising and attending conferences and rallies like Walk Against Warming, or even just discussing the issues.

Human Sign: International Day of Action on Climate Change

Event Cancelled.

The Human Sign scheduled for Sat 6 Dec, the International Day of Action on Climate Change, in Moore Park has been cancelled.

We apologise to those who already registered and to everyone who was keen for a Sydney event as part of the international actions. There were a combination of factors that forced us to cancel the event, mainly centered around venue permission from Centennial Parklands.

You can still join with thousands of others around the world on Dec 6 sending a message about international climate action by taking a photo of yourself, your family or friends with a “Sorry about coal”, “Peak Carbon by 2010″ or “350” sign and put it up on Flickr or your own website.

We have to work for our own interest,for better Earth,for the generation next.As a human being we should get together to stop environmental pollution & make a green,clean,fresh planet.
